One of the top officials in US collegiate athletics said Thursday that his conference has seen an increase in gambling on its events over the past five years. Sankey told APSE that the conference gets betting data from US Integrity on a weekly basis that gives them insights into gambling behaviors both within the conference and nationally.

The Caesars Entertainment property said that a visitor from Arizona was the lucky winner of a $918,430 jackpot hit on June 12. The winner said they plan to purchase a house in Arizona with the winnings. Caesars says the fortunate patron was playing an Ultimate Texas Hold’em table game when they hit the Mega Progressive Jackpot. The winning hand was a royal flush of diamonds.

The Gambling Commission has announced the appointment of Andrew Rhodes as its new Interim Chief Executive.Rhodes replaces Neil McArthur who departed the Gambling Commission in March after a controversial time in the hot seat, with serious gambling reform ushered in. 

In a move that is in keeping with its goal to further expand across Europe’s key regulated markets this year, Relax Gaming has partnered with international sports betting and gambling company Entain and will be supplying a trio of the operator’s Spain-facing brands with its high-performing content.
